The ACADD commitee meets once every three months and membership to commitee requires application forms and nomination by one existing member of commitee and a second referral.
Staff require familiarity and some understanding of alcoholism and addiction, with added credentials to their professions.

ACADD accepts on the job training from people training in pyschiatry, phschology, councilling, welfare and drug and alcohol services.
